She holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University Long Beach and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. With a deep-rooted passion for movement cultivated through her years as a competitive dancer, Katie expanded her expertise by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Kettlebell Coach University Level 1 certified, and a certified BASI Pilates Instructor. Katie is dedicated to bridging the gap between rehabilitation and fitness by advocating for a holistic approach that recognizes fitness as an essential component of healthcare. She has gained experience in an array of settings, working with various patient populations, from youth athletes to weekend warriors. Katie specializes in sports rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, manual therapy, and other musculoskeletal treatments. In her free time, she likes to stay active with various outdoor activities, experimenting with new recipes, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones, especially the furry ones!
